ESTABLISHMENT OF A JUST PEACE IN D.R. CONGO
ANTOINE-MUSANGANYA THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A JUST PEACE, RESPECT FOR THE RULE OF LAW, THE PROPOSAL OF STRUCTURAL REFORMS, INDIVIDUAL FREEDOMS, ECONOMIC GROWTH, THE CREATION OF A DETERRENT ARMY, AND SOCIAL PROGRESS IN THE DRC CONGO August 14, 2025 The war in the DRC has had several unfortunate consequences. In the inertia of the international community, the inaction of the United Nations, and the wait-and-see attitude of the African Union, the country has been the scene of significant clashes for more than 30 years, resulting in underdevelopment, poverty, widespread chaos, and the decline of the state apparatus through the resurgence of political conflicts that poison the situation, including the fantasy of war, leading to The annihilation of the Congolese state and the dissolution of the nation. The activism of armed groups caused the stagnation of the subregion, the conflagration in the eastern part of the country, and the devastation of the DRC, which saw the resources allocated for the country's development offset by the war effort. The scars of the war keep alive the memory of a turbulent and unbalanced period in terms of the decline of democracy and destabilization, invasions, and aggression from neighboring countries. The economic war has profoundly marked, shaped, and disrupted Congolese society, where the political and social fabrics are more affected. The Congolese war has a negative impact on the country's development and the maintenance of the democratic regime. THE PROMOTION OF ECONOMIC GROWTH, THE CREATION OF A JUST, DEMOCRATIC, AND SOVEREIGN STATE, THE PROPOSAL OF STRUCTURAL REFORMS, THE INDUSTRIALIZATION NECESSARY FOR DEVELOPMENT, THE CREATION OF A DETERRENT ARMY, AND THE EMERGENCE OF THE DRC CONGO August 14, 2025 The DRC is undergoing major political events: the Washington Process, the Doha peace negotiations in Qatar, the constitutional amendment, the government's proposal for structural reforms, and the trial against Joseph Kabila Kabange at the High Military Court in Kinshasa. Everything points to an imminent political crisis as the Congolese intelligentsia and the political class in the D.R. Congo find themselves divided and the Congolese population, in various demonstrations and popular uprisings, questions the power of Felix-Antoine TSHISEKEDI TSHILOMBO whose authoritarian excesses cast doubt on democratic governance. Delas, the president of the republic is suspected of wanting to run for a third term, he seeks to maintain himself in power by tampering with the constitution. There is a glimmer of hope in the resolution of political conflicts and a clear desire to rebuild the country and build an industrial power that will emerge in Africa; the Congolese government seeks to promote the growth of the Congolese economy, which must be competitive, and to build a dissuasive army that will defend the population and secure the national borders. There is still time to work to develop the Congo and ensure the country's stability and social progress. Congolese decision-makers are pooling efforts to find a solution to the security crisis in the east of the country. The Congolese head of state is devoting his body and soul to rebuilding the country, developing it, and ensuring the maintenance of the democratic regime, but his liberal excesses leave much to be desired. The eastern Democratic Republic of Congo is occupied by the M23 rebel movement, which has imposed an illegal government, a seeming order, and a likely peace. The armed group M23 presents unseemly demands and claims to defend the population, placing it under the yoke of Rwanda by spreading oppression and terror. Indeed, the population of eastern Congo leads a semblance of a life, as the AFC/M23 commits summary executions, massacres, mass killings, rapes against the population, and summary abuses. Former Congolese President Joseph Kabila Kabange is suspected of being the moral authority of the M23. The M23 has committed war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide. The Rwandan-backed rebel movement is acting with the intent to kill Paul Kagame, who is its mastermind. Everything suggests that those responsible for these serious crimes must be brought to justice so that the truth can be told about the economic war raging in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
